Convert PNG to JPG online.
Turn a PNG into a widely supported JPG, with optional pixel dimensions or a maximum file-size target.
Why convert PNG files to JPG?
PNG is ideal when an image needs transparency or lossless graphics, but photographs and scanned images can become unnecessarily large. JPG is accepted by most websites, application portals, email systems and content-management tools, and it often creates a smaller file for photographic content.
SizeFix lets you do more than change the extension. You can also set an exact width or height, use an aspect ratio preset, or enter a maximum size in kilobytes before export. That makes this page useful when a form accepts JPG only or imposes a strict upload limit.
What happens to transparent PNG areas?
JPG cannot store transparent pixels. SizeFix therefore places transparent parts of the source PNG on a white background during conversion. If transparency is important, keep the PNG or use the Image to PNG tool instead.
Private browser processing
The conversion is performed in your browser. The image does not need to be uploaded to a SizeFix conversion server for the normal workflow, which also keeps the tool responsive for everyday files.
PNG to JPG FAQs
Can I reduce the JPG below 100KB?
Yes. Enter 100 in the maximum file-size box before conversion. SizeFix will validate the resulting size and tell you whether the requested target was met.
Will the image dimensions change?
Not unless you enter a width, height, ratio, or the file must be reduced further to reach a size target.
Can I use this on a phone?
Yes. The interface is responsive and supported mobile browsers can save or share the resulting image.
