QR scanner

Scan QR codes from photos or your camera.

Use a saved screenshot for the most reliable scan, or point your phone camera at a QR code with all four corners visible.

Two reliable ways to read a QR code

Scan from a photo is ideal for screenshots and saved images. Scan with camera uses the device camera continuously until a code is detected. For best results, keep the code flat, well lit and fully inside the scanner area.

If a live camera scan struggles because of glare, distance or focus, take a screenshot/photo and use the image scanner instead. The decoded content is shown directly on the page, and web links are opened only when you choose the resulting link.

QR scanner FAQs

Why can the camera open but still fail to detect a code?

Camera access and QR decoding are separate steps. Make sure the QR code is sharp, large enough in the frame, well lit and fully visible. SizeFix also provides photo scanning as a fallback.

Can I scan a screenshot?

Yes. Choose the screenshot or image and SizeFix will scan the saved file directly.
